بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
الحمد لله الذى أرسل رسوله بالهدى ودين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله وكفى بالله شهيدا. أشهد أن لااله الا الله وحده لاشريك له. وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسو له. المبعوث رحمة للعالمين ذوى الفضائل والكرمات. أمابعد
All praises be to Allah, The Lord of the entire universe for it is He who has created us and those before us and has raised among mankind His prophets and messengers with guidance and the religion of truth for the salvation of mankind in this world and the next world.
Peace and blessing be upon the messenger of Allah, the seal of all the prophets and messengers of Allah who had been sent as a mercy and blessing for the entire worlds and also upon his blessed household and holy companions.
Thanks to Allah, The Almighty for giving me this precious moment to deliver the message of true love and mercy to the whole world. May Allah, The Exalted have mercy upon us all.
O Brothers and Sisters !
On this fifth series of my message to the whole world I shall touch on the core teaching of Allah’s Religion i.e The Concept of true Love and Mercy.
Allah, The Almighty had sent prophets and messengers to every place and nation as a mercy and blessing for their own respective people. Every prophet has the task of proclaiming and making known to his people who is God worthy of worship and shows them how to worship Him. Everyone of them spreads love among his people by teaching them to live with love and compassion with one another and above all shows them the path to their Lord in order to gain His Divine Love.
In this way people who believe and have faith on the prophet sent to them will now find peace and happiness as they live with love and compassion with one another and they begin to love God, The Almighty, their Lord.
Thus every prophet and messenger of Allah, The Almighty is a mercy and blessing for his own people except The Last and The Seal of all prophets. The Holy Prophet PBUH was not only sent as a mercy and blessing to his own people, the Arabs but also for the entire worlds as Allah, The Almighty made it clear in chapter Al-Anbia verse 107 :
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
But the Christians claim that Jesus Son of Mary is the only one who really teaches love among people and they accuse they Holy Prophet SAW as spreading hatred and terrorism among people contrary to what Allah SWT had made it clear chapter Anbia verse 107 :
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
“We sent thee not (O Muhammad S.A.W.) but as a mercy and blessing for all worlds (kingdoms).”
O Brothers and Sisters !
The question is what is the concept of true love and mercy which had been preached by all the prophets and messengers of Allah, The Almighty because everyone claims that his religion teaches people to live with love and compassion with one another.
Muslims and non Muslims especially Christians have been talking about love and compassion and encouraged that humans should live together with love and mercy. Many efforts have been made towards it but there is still no love and compassion among humans. The United Nations and other related organizations have been established to create peace, harmony and cooperation among nations but until today they still fail to achieve their objective. Why is that so?
The love and compassion that they voiced out is only temporary in nature and not a true love and compassion. This is because it is based on worldly counts, lust and mortal ideas and not for the sake of Allah SWT alone. That is why their love and compassion cannot last long. So what is true love and mercy ?
I shall now explain to the whole world the Concept of true Love and Mercy which has been preached by all the prophets and messengers of Allah, The Almighty so that people of all nations will know and understand what is true love and mercy according to Allah’s Religion as preached by all the prophets and messengers of Allah, The Almighty.
True love and mercy are all acts and conducts by a person upon himself, his family and other people as well as other creatures that cause him and them to obtain mercy and pleasure of Allah S.W.T in this world and in the Next world. With this, they will be safe in this world and in the next. It is imperative that in order to bring about true love and mercy such acts and conducts must be based on the religion of Islam because the laws and regulations in Islam are based on love and mercy.
Therefore it is evident that in order for an act and conduct to be considered as true love and mercy it must fulfil certain conditions i.e :
1. Such act and conduct must cause someone, his family and other people as well as other creatures to obtain the Mercy and Pleasure of Allah, The Almighty not only in this world but also in the Next World.
2. Such act and conduct must be based on the Religion of Allah SWT i.e Islam.
So whatever acts and conducts done in the name of love are not true love if they do not meet these required conditions. Example it is not called true love and compassion if a father defends his guilty child because his action will not make his child realize his wrongdoing and this will cause them both to obtain Allah SWT’s Displeasure. They will not be safe in this world and in the next from Allah SWT’s punishment.
To understand what is true love and compassion, it brings us to explain the meaning of “ Mercy and Blessing ” which Allah S.W.T. has stated in chapter Al-Anbia verse 107 :
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
“We sent thee not (O Muhammad SAW.) but as a mercy and blessing for all worlds (kingdoms).”
This verse means not only is The Holy Prophet SAW is a mercy and blessing but also Allah SWT’s religion he brings with him is also a mercy and blessing for all people and creatures.
This means that the laws and regulations contained in Allah’s Religion i.e Islam are based on true love and mercy for the whole world. This can be seen when we look at the contents of the Religion of Islam.
The Religion of Islam consists of two types of relationships i.e the relationship between man and his Creator, Allah The Almighty and the relationship among mankind
The relationship among mankind can be divided into several sections, ie, the relationship between man and (a) himself, (b) his family, (c) his relations, (d) his neighbours, (e) his community, (f) the relationship between rich people and poor people, (g) an individual and his employees, (h) buyer and seller, (i) an individual and a religious scholar, (j) an individual and a leader, (k) an individual and the country, (l) a Muslim and a non-Muslim, and (m) one country and another country.
Includes in this relationship is a relationship between human beings and other creatures such as jinns, animals, plants and inanimate things.
The Divine laws and regulations governing all these relationships are based on love and mercy.

Not only this, war in Islam is also a form of love and mercy towards all mankind.
Indeed war during the time of The Holy Prophet S.A.W and the Sahabas RA was based on love and mercy towards humankind. In that period it was the first time that Islam was introduced to the whole of mankind and as such there were inevitable obstacles and obstructions.
The Sahabas RA i.e the Holy Companions of the Holy Prophet SAW sacrificed their energy, property and their lives to deliver Allah S.W.T.’s religion to human kind. They went out from their homes and travelled far and wide to deliver this message from heaven. They pawned their lives in order to deliver the Mercy from Allah S.W.T. which is Islam to those who have not yet tasted it.
During that time there were two great empires, Rome and Persia which possessed a vast conquered land. In order to spread Islam to these empires it was impossible to only use words and letters or epistles. This would fail especially the Roman empire was a Christian empire.
Islam is Allah SWT’s religion which must be spread to every human being for their salvation in this world and in the next.
As the Roman empire used weapons of war such as swords, spears and arrows to widen their empire besides spreading Christianity, the Muslims had to prepare and equip themselves also with the same weapons to spread Islam especially in the areas conquered by Rome and Persia.
This was not the idea of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW but it was the Will of Allah S.W.T. the Most compassionate and Most Merciful who knows what is best for His servants. This was explained in the Al-Quran.
Chapter Al-Anfaal verse 60 :
وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّااسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّاللهِ وَّعَدُوَّكُمْ وَءَاخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ الله ُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ
Chapter Al-Anfaal Verse 39 :
وَقٰتِلُوهُوْ حَتَّىٰ لاَ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ ِللهِ ۚ فَإِنِ انتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ الله َ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
It is clear that it is Allah SWT who requested the Holy Prophet S.A.W. and his Sahabas to go to war in spreading Islam to places especially to those who were against Islam.
At that time this was the most suitable and effective way of spreading Islam that is weapon to weapon. Even so, Allah SWT forbade the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW to force anyone to embrace Islam. This was stressed in Chapter 2 Al-Baqarah verse 256 :
لاَ إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ
The Holy Prophet SAW. and his Sahabah complied with this restriction. It was proven in history that they never forced anyone to embrace Islam even though their territories and homes had fallen into Muslim hands and they were prisoners of war. The Holy Prophet S.A.W. invited them to accept Islam with compassion and wisdom. Such was the way taught by Allah S.W.T. to The Holy Prophet S.A.W as stated in Chapter 16 An-Nahlu verse 125 :
اُدْعُ إِلَى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجدِلْهُم بِالَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ
“Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious; for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path and who receive guidance.”
O Brothers and Sisters !
Islam is a religion of love and mercy. Therefore, peace has always been a principle basis whilst war has always been an exception.
The Holy Prophet did not go into battle with any district that they arrived at without first inviting them to the path of Allah S.W.T. and His Messenger.
Whenever the Sahabas RA are in any place where they would spread Allah S.W.T.’s religion they never immediately attack or invade but they would first invite the people especially their leaders to Islam. If they refuse they would have to pay “Jizyah” i.e tax or tribute and be subjugated to the Muslims. In this way they would be able to continue their mission to spread Islam. They will be given several days to decide whether or not to embrace Islam or pay the “Jizyah”. It is only after they refuse that the Sahabas RA would continue their mission to spread Islam even if it means they are forced to go to war.
If war is allowed by Islam as an obligation which is required to be carried out namely to spread the religion to human kind or if war is allowed by Islam to defend it nevertheless at the same time there are limits to be observed which are as follows :
1. It is not permitted to kill unless during war.
2. It is not legitimate to kill or tyrannize those who are not involved in war.
3. It is unlawful and forbidden to kill women, children, the sick, the aged, the scholars, slaves and officers.
4. Islam also forbids cruelty and indeed forbid killing animals, damaging crops, polluting wells and destroying homes or places of worship.
5. It is also forbidden to kill the injured and give chase to those who are fleeing.
O Brothers and Sisters !
In Islam prisoners of war are to be treated humanly with compassion. Allah S.W.T. loves those who treat prisoners of war well.
Allah SWT said in Chapter 76 Al-Insan Verses 8 and 9 :
وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا ﴿٨﴾ إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لاَ نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاء وَلَا شُكُورًا
“And they give food for the love of Him to the Miskin, the orphan and the captive, (saying) : “We feed you seeking Allah’s Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you.”
Tsumaqah bin Atsal was captured as a prisoner and brought before The Holy Prophet SAW who said:
اَحْسِنُوْا اِسَارَةُ
“Treat your prisoners well.”
Then The Holy Prophet SAW further said:
اَجْمِعُوْا مَا عِنْدَكُمْ مِنْ طَعِامٍ فابْعَثُوْا بِهِ إِلَيْهِ
“Collect whatever food that you may have and send them to him.”
The Sahabahs RA gave camel’s milk which belonged to The Holy Prophet S.A.W. to Tsumaqah morning and evening. When he refused to embrace Islam The Holy Prophet S.A.W. freed him without redemption. The Holy Prophet S.A.W.’s action prompted him to embrace Islam.
During the incident of Fathul-Mecca when its inhabitants were all taken as prisoners The Holy Prophet S.A.W. said to them: “Go! all. You are all free men.” This prompted the inhabitants of Mecca to embrace Islam.
O Brothers and Sisters !
Let us view this fact without bias and prejudice but with an open heart and mind so that we are able to see the light of truth.
Wars in times of the Holy Prophet SAW and his Holy Companion RA were carried out in order to spread Islam to those who have not embraced it for their salvation in this world and in the Next world. These acts would cause those who will embrace Islam to obtain the mercy and pleasure of Allah SWT in this world and in the Next world and these acts were done in accordance with Islam. Therefore these acts are acts of true love and mercy because they fulfil the required conditions.
Thus it is very clear to us now that wars in the times of the Holy Prophet SAW and Holy companions were acts of true love and mercy towards the whole of mankind.
But the non-muslim especially the Christians have accused the Holy Prophet of spreading Islam by way of sword, through force and violence and thus advocating terrorism. As I have said war was not the idea of the Holy Prophet SAW but it is the Will of the Allah, The Almighty, The Most Compassionate and The Most Merciful. How can we accuse Allah SWT The Most Just and The Most High of advocating force and terrorism against His own servants.
It is only those who are anti-Islam who intentionally ignore to see the wisdom behind wars in times of the Holy Prophet SAW and made such baseless accusation and allegation against the Holy Prophet SAW who had been sent by Allah, The Almighty as a mercy and blessing for the entire worlds.
O Brothers and Sisters !
As I have explained in order for an act and conduct to be considered as true love and mercy towards oneself or others it must be done in order to obtain the Mercy and Pleasure of Allah The Almighty and also it must be done in accordance with the Religion of Allah SWT i.e Islam.
Allah SWT said in chapter Ali Imran verse 85:
وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ اْلإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي اْلآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
“And whosoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.”
This means whosoever embraces a religion other than Islam, his religion is not accepted by Allah SWT and in the Hereafter he will enter Hellfire.
Therefore whosoever preaches religion other than Islam and invites people to embrace his religion his act is not an act of true love and mercy towards mankind because people who accept his call will be among the losers in the Day of Judgment i.e he will be thrown to the Hellfire.
As such what other religions especially Christianity talk about love and mercy towards mankind is not true love and mercy. They can not claim to have spread true love and mercy towards mankind when their acts and conducts would cause people to suffer punishment in the Day of Judgment.
What the people of other religions have done especially the learned among them might be called love and mercy but in a worldly sense and not in a divine sense.
O Brothers and Sisters !
This world is void of true love and mercy. There is no true love and mercy prevailing throughout the whole world. Everywhere fightings, wars, aggression, oppression, tyranny, racial and religious discrimination and segregation are happening killing innocent people such as children and women, the young, the old and the weak causing destructions on land and sea without lawful cause and mercy.
There is no other way of solving these problems except people of all nations must return to the original path, the path that had been trodden by all the prophets and messengers of Allah, The Almighty, the path that leads to Him by embracing His Religion. This is because true love and mercy is only found in Islam.
There will be peace, justice, equality, harmony, love and happiness among people of all nations if they all return to Allah, The Almighty, by embracing His Religion and practising all what is contained in it.
That is what Allah, The Exalted wants us to do as stated in the Holy Quran chapter Az- Zumar verse 54 :
وَأَنِيبُوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَأَسْلِمُوا لَهُ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ الْعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لاَ تُنصَرُونَ
What I have said especially in this fifth series of my message to the whole world is not intended to ridicule or disgrace other religions especially that of Christianity or Judaism but it is the truth from our Lord, Allah, The Almighty which must be conveyed to people of all nations so that they will know this truth and hopefully they will return to the original path. I have conveyed my series of message to the whole world purely for the love of mankind.
So let us pray to Allah, The Almighty, our Lord for our salvation in this world and in the Next world.
O Allah, our Lord, the Lord of all creations ! Please forgive our sins and our wrongs. We pray that You always guides so that we are all safe from all dangers in this world and the Next.
O Allah, our Lord ! We seek Your guidance and assistance so that we are able to perform good deeds which You pleases.
O Allah, our Lord ! To those who are sick please grant them good health, to those who are in distress and in need please grant them aid and provision, to those who are in difficulties please relieve them from their burden and hardship.
O Allah, our Lord ! To those who have not embraced Your religion please give them guidance so that they will embrace Your religion. And for those have gone astray please lead them back to the right path that You pleases.
O Allah, Our Lord ! Please grant us peace and happiness in this world and in the next world.
Hopefully the whole of mankind will be safe in this world and in the Next World.
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ رَّحِيْمُ. سُبْحٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ. وَسَلٰمٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ. وَالْحَمْدُ ِللهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيَن.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّى وَسَلِّمْ عَلٰى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدِ الْفَاتِحِ لِمَا اُغْلِقَ وَالْخَاتِمِ لِمَا سَبَقَ وَالنَّاصِرِ الْحَقِّ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْهَادِىْ اِلَى صِرَاطِ الْمُسْتَقِيْمِ وَعَلَى اَلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَمِقْدَارِهِ الْعَظِيْمِ
