The issue faced by the Muslims today is not an issue of establishment of an independent Palestinian State, but it is an issue of Baitulmuqaddis’ liberation from Israel and its American ally, implying it is no longer Palestinian Muslims issue but Muslims issue altogether.
Since the day the official declaration was made by America on December 7th, 2017 to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, all Islamic states are not united in a single act.
In the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul, Turkey on December 13, 2017, among the agreed resolutions are:
1. Declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine.
2. Rejecting the American declaration regarding Jerusalem
3. Urging the UN to stop Israel's occupation of Palestine
Yemen as Chairman of Arab Group and Turkey as Chairman of the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) had requested the UN’s General Assembly President to hold a meeting. Thus a conference was held on December 21st, 2017 to reject the America’s declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in which 128 countries agreed, 9 against and 35 abstentions.
As we are all aware the issue of Baitulmuqaddis is not an issue of international politics, but is indeed a religious issue between Israel, Christians and Islam that can be solved only through the laws of Allah SWT and not through international laws or UN laws. In this context, the UN has no direct power at all to resolve Baitulmuqaddis issue and we Muslims do not need the support of non-Muslims nations to determine the status of Baitulmuqaddis.
Rightfully, Muslim countries are able to solve the problems they face, particularly the issue of Baitulmuqaddis without any help and sympathy of non-Muslim countries, especially the United Nations. The reason being Islam has a set of comprehensive laws and regulations that can solve the problems faced not only in the afterlife but also problems in this world. It should be the non-Islamic countries instead, especially Americans, seeking help from us to solve their problems. Our action to seek UN’s aid as well as other non-Islamic countries clearly degrading our dignity as Muslims and consequently the dignity of Islam.
It is evident from Baitulmuqaddis’ issue, Muslims are not united leading to the inability to solve the problem.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned the disunity among Muslims in the hadith narrated by At-Thabrani which means:
"By Allah in Whose Power is the life of Muhammad, my people will be divided into 73 groups, where one group will enter Paradise and the other 72 will enter hell. The Companions then asked “who are they, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet (PBUH) said: Ahlus Sunnah wal jamaah) ".
Narrated by Imam Ahmad from Abi Darda RA:
"The Prophet (pbuh) said; I am leaving you upon a (path of) brightness whose night is like its day. No one will deviate from it after me but one who is doomed"
Clearly 72 sects will enter the hellfire because they deviate from the path left by the Prophet (pbuh) since the path left by the Prophet (pbuh) is the way of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah.
It is then not surprising why the Muslim countries are not united and weak going into destruction for we Muslims have split into 73 sects as stated in the hadith of the Prophet (pbuh). The fact is the majority of Muslims belong to the 72 deviated sects.
Allah SWT said in the Holy Quran, Chapter Al-Anfal Verse 46
وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ ...
“And obey Allah and His Messenger and do not quarrel for then you will be weak in hearts and your power will depart...”
In such condition, how can we obtain Allah SWT help and assistance? It is no wonder the problems of Myanmar, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, South Philippines cannot be resolved as we do not obtain His help and assistance.
Prayers for the safety of the oppressed Muslims that have always been recited by Muslims, especially during the Hajj season are not granted because the majority of Muslims are not on the right path left by the Prophet (pbuh).
If we Muslims need the help and assistance of Allah SWT to resolve the problems, especially the issue of Baitulmuqaddis, rightfully we Muslims must revert to the path of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah.
This means the first step to be taken by Muslims to solve the safety problems of Muslims, especially Baitulmuqaddis is to unite in Ahlis Sunnah Wal Jamaah way, otherwise all our efforts will be useless as has been and is happening.
The time has come to save the Muslims who are in desperate condition now. The scholars of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah must wake up and lead the Muslims back to unite in Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah. They must be determined and hardworking to ensure every Muslim country uses the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah in accordance with Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah’s thoughts as their constitution. In addition to this, they must make an effort to liberate Baitulmuqaddis from Israel and Christians forever.
Indeed this is the duty of the scholars among the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah. If they do not wake up and take the necessary actions, this will certainly cause an emergence of a group from the East saving the present situation and undoubtedly liberate Baitulmuqaddis.
